Shipping Instructions

SHIPPING: Orders can be dropped off and picked up at the Aliso Viejo home office or shipped per our customer’s instructions at the customer’s expense. If no shipping instructions are received, then orders will ship via the method deemed most practical and cost-effective by CDC. Please note that although CDC does not dictate the shipper or shipping method, the following guidelines are strongly recommended to minimize the possibility of product damage while in transit.

We recommend that you ship your source materials to us using an insured carrier with tracking such as FedEx, UPS or US Priority Mail. We cannot be responsible for video media lost through shipping. CDC will return your finished product via UPS Ground with $100 insurance & tracking unless you specify on the order form that you would like us to use an alternate prepaid service.

CDC’s business is based on volume manufacturing and distribution. As such, our containers and packaging are designed for delivery by freight (i.e.- placed on a pallet and poly-wrapped to minimize movement). Furthermore, disc orders in amaray or jewel cases have even more stringent handling requirements. Purchasing carrier-provided insurance for the full value of the order is also recommended. If no value is declared, carrier liability is minimal and CDC assumes no liability for product damaged in transit. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect shipments for damage at the point of delivery. Boxes and other packaging that appear damaged should not be accepted. If a shipment or any portion of a shipment is rejected, CDC must be notified as soon as is reasonably possible.
